• REA PC Scan LD 4 is the only barcode verifier that works with absolute numerical values for reading, and is often used as a reference instrument. REA PC Scan can handle barcodes up to 133 mm, but it is also available in a size of 220 mm and is perfect for analyzing the quality and dimensional variations of printers or printing machines. It is a great instrument for analyzing where and possibly what the error is.
  
  REA PC Scan uses REA's Transwin software for presentation. Transwin provides an easy and understandable graphical presentation that explains deviations simply and accurately with a precision of 1/1000 mm. REA PC Scan also handles the GS1 data structure of the codes, which ensures that there are no errors in the construction of the barcodes. It is the only barcode verifier that is self-calibrating. REA PC Scan has a built-in white ceramic plate to calibrate its light, and the length and size are automatically adjusted based on the rail that the head moves on, and does not need to be calibrated.
  
  REA PC Scan can also measure surface structure and provide a graphical presentation of the surface. This is especially interesting when there are problems with barcode quality on products with a large structure, such as egg cartons.
  
  Note: The aperture here is normally from 4 millimeters and up to 8 millimeters. It is also available in a 10-20 millimeter solution, which needs to be decided upon purchase.
